Want to freeze the action in your photographs? One way to do this is to set your camera to “Sv” mode (or “Tv” mode on some brands) and then select a high shutter speed like 250 or higher (500 or 1000). Your camera will select the appropriate aperture for the exposure. The faster the motion, the higher you should set the shutter speed.
